Who we are
The Trade Boss Property Services (ABN 18 273 112 649) is run by Melanie Bone, Director. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean The Trade Boss. You can reach us on 0428 821 216 or at mel@thetradeboss.com.au.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us. That depends on how you reach us.
- Property inquiry. Your name, phone number and email address, your agency or company name if you give one, the property address, the type and size of the property, the services you need, your timing, any notes you add, and any photos or entry report you upload.
- Job referral. Your name and email address, and the client’s name, phone number, email address if you have it, the property address and what the client needs. When you refer a client you confirm that you have told them we will be in touch.
- Trade partner application. Your name, phone number and email address, the services you provide and the areas you cover, whether you hold public liability insurance, any notes you add and any photos of your work. If we take an application further, we collect more through our onboarding form: your ABN, bank details, insurance information and police check status.
- Email and phone. Whatever you tell us when you email or call.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you and to quote, book and carry out your job.
- To coordinate the trades who work on the job.
- To invoice and to receive payment.
- To keep the records we need for insurance and compliance.
- To ask how the job went afterwards, including asking for a review.
- For trade partners, to confirm you are eligible to work with us and to pay you.
Who sees it
Only the people who need it to get the job done. That includes the trades we send to the property, who receive the address, access details and scope for that job, and the providers that run our website, email, accounting and business systems on our behalf.
We do not sell your information. We do not disclose it to anyone else unless the law requires it, or it is needed to complete a job or resolve a matter with a client.
How we store it
Your information is stored securely in the business systems we use to manage inquiries, jobs, email and invoicing, and is accessible only to The Trade Boss for the purposes in this policy. We keep records for as long as we need them for business and compliance purposes, and dispose of them securely once they are no longer needed.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies of its own. To count visits and measure how quickly pages load, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or local storage to do this, and that it does not fingerprint individual visitors.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, by contacting us on 0428 821 216 or at mel@thetradeboss.com.au.
